The workshop
Custom framing and mirrors,
made in Sydney.
Hand-crafted in Sydney since 2013. Framing, mirrors and printing, made in one workshop and installed by our own team.
01 Our story
The Framing Project began as a small Sydney framing bench in 2013. More than a decade on, we design, print, frame and mirror for homes, galleries, architects and interior designers.
Every piece is still made by hand, under one roof, by people who answer the phone themselves.
Our workshop is where every piece comes together. It's home to our CNC cutting, metal welding, in-house spray painting, LED assembly, timber framing and our glass and mirror bench.
It's run by an in-house team of around twelve framers, welders, sprayers and glass specialists. Everything we make is Australian made, by hand, here in Sydney.
From a single framed print to a full commercial fit-out, we design it, make it, deliver it and install it with our own team.

02 How we work
Three things
we don't skip.
Every project follows the same path, from a single frame to a full fit-out. Because it all happens under one roof, we keep control of quality and timing at every step.
-

Measured twice
Concept and design first, then confirmed drawings, so you know exactly what you're getting before anything is cut.
-

Made once
Cut, joined, welded, sprayed and fitted in our own workshop. Printing, framing, metal and glass are all done in-house.
-

Checked by hand
A framer checks every job before it's wrapped. Then it's delivered, or installed by our own team.

My experiences with The Framing Project have been absolutely amazing.
A massive thank you for your time and effort on Chanel Métiers d'Art private viewings.
Thank you Steve and team for carefully stretching and framing a throw — making it into art.
I highly recommend The Framing Project. As an artist, I've been to many framers over the years.
Sensational service, brilliant range of frames and mirrors. They helped me select artworks.
I wish I had lots of money so I could just continue to have you frame pieces of art.
I can’t thank Steve and the team at Framing Project enough for helping my friend and I get something framed last minute for a birthday gift!
