The Lands by Capella

The Artling · Sydney

Frames we designed with The Artling for the art collection at The Lands by Capella, each made to suit its artwork, including oversized pieces.

All projects
Clare creek in winter by Marek Herburt, a bright yellow and red landscape painting in a dark frame, in a hallway with a chequered marble floor and an arched doorway

The Artling was art consultant for The Lands by Capella, the restored Department of Lands building in Sydney, with interiors by HASSELL for developer Pontiac Land Group. The collection brings together close to 100 works, mostly by Australian artists, under the theme Mapping Connections.

We designed and made the frames with the gallery, choosing each profile and finish to complement the artwork it holds.

What we made

  • Frames for each artwork. Designed with The Artling to suit the work and the room.
  • Oversized pieces. Large works framed in our Sydney workshop.
